The Caring Neighbors community outreach group of New Life Church in the Villas served up a hot ham dinner with homemade macaroni and cheese and green beans on a cold March afternoon. The group organizes bingo and penny parties at local nursing home and offers help to residents when tragedy strikes. They have served lunch for county residents at United Way headquarters several times this year. Leader Vern Miler says the group’s mission is to show God’s love for others.
