Or apply via email by August 6th to reserve yourself a volunteer spot. (Year-round volunteers and past Regatta volunteers will be assigned first.)

Sign in for all volunteers is between 5:30pm and 6:00pm in the picnic area located on the north side of the Water Park. You will be given your assignment, wristband for access to race area and t-shirt. After 6pm we cannot guarantee a position. (Due to water park regulations we are limited in the number of volunteers permitted in the race area. Year-round and past Regatta volunteers will be assigned first.
Everyone will meet under the Ferris Wheel at 7:00pm.
All volunteers are asked to stay and help pack up all race equipment and meet at the Pine Avenue Fire House to unload ducks.

Upcoming Volunteer opportunities
- August 21st, 1pm- pack up and move ducks from Fire House to Storage unit
- September 5, 6 & 7th - Roar to the Shore Weekend We will be selling tickets for a 2008, 105th-Anniversary Harley Motorcycle donated by Cape Classic Motor Cycle Club. Volunteers are asked to sign up for one (or two) four-hour shifts. We need 30 volunteers over this weekend to make this event successful for our United Way and Cape Classic.
New Incentive this year
From August 10th through December 31st 2008, everyone that volunteers will be eligible to win a Nintendo Wii Game System with a Wii Fit. For every hour you volunteer you will be given one chance to win. If you get to this year’s race at 5:30pm and stay until the end you will get 3 chances. If you are scheduled to sell tickets or are a member of the Ducky Operations team arriving by 1pm and staying until the end you will get 7 chances.
This is going to be a challenging year for our United Way to raise money to meet the growing needs in our community. Volunteers are need now more than ever. Thank you for your continued support.
