The 15th Annual Rubber Ducky Regatta went great and we would like to thank everyone that volunteered on race day. We couldn’t do it without all of you so thanks for all your help!

As you may know, the next event we have is Roar to the Shore Motorcycle weekend in Wildwood. Once again the Cape Classics Motorcycle Club along with Wildwood Harley Davidson has been generous enough to donate a 2008 Harley Davidson Street Bob.

We have an opportunity to raise $20,000.00 for our United Way but we only have 4 days to do it. That is where all of you come in! We need lots of volunteers over the weekend so that we can sell as many tickets as possible!

OK here are the details:

We will have two locations where we will be selling tickets. Oak Avenue and the Wildwoods Convention Center parking lot. The dates are:

• Thursday, Sept 4th
• Friday, Sept 5th
• Saturday, Sept 6th
• Sunday, Sept 7th

We will have the following 5 hour shifts to fill:

• 9:00am - 1:00pm
• 1:00pm - 5:00pm
• 5:00pm - 9:00pm

We need at least 4 volunteers for each shift in order to cover both locations. We would appreciate any help you can give us in our effort to raise $20,000 for our United Way.

There will be free parking available for all volunteers at the First Baptist Church on Maple Ave. In addition, don’t forget every volunteer hour is worth one entry into the drawing for a Nintendo Wii at Christmas!
