United Way helps local residents reduce prescription costs

Healthcare costs are proving to be a top concern for American families, and Cape May County residents are no exception. Many local residents have insufficient coverage, no prescription coverage or need medications not covered by their insurance, Medicare, Medicaid or VA benefits.

As a result, some families are faced with tough choices every day between their health and making ends meet. Some make due by reducing the required dosage, while others don’t buy the medicine they need at all.

All Wii want for Christmas is an Eagles Duck

The United Way of Cape May County is kicking off the football season for Eagles fans with a holiday raffle guaranteed to make the New Year brighter for County residents. Over the next two months, Eagles and Eagles Cheerleader Rubber Duckies will be for sale at select area businesses, and each Duckie Mascot comes with a chance to win great prizes just in time for Christmas.
