Diapers are a big expense for local families struggling to make ends meet, and the food pantry at The United Way of Cape May County has seen an increased need in recent months.

“Diapers aren’t glamorous,” United Way Executive Director Suzanne Nardi said, “But they are some of the many basic needs that take a big chunk out of the family budget.”

So from Dec 1 -19, the folks at Clermont Nine Real Estate will be remembering local children over the holidays by collecting disposable diapers of all sizes and brands to help ease the burden some families face during lean economic times. The diapers will be distributed to eligible families at the United Way’ First Call for Help food pantry, 230 E. Maple Avenue, Wildwood.

Donations may be dropped off at Clermont Nine Real Estate office, 1920 Route 9 North, Clermont, NJ. Interested businesses wishing to participate are invited to establish their own business as a Drop-off Location by contacting Kim Schiela at (609) 624-0990, or by email at kschiela@clermont9.com.
