Rubber Ducky Regatta makes a splash

The United Way of Cape May County’s 2008 Rubber Ducky Regatta was a huge success thanks in no small part to an army of volunteers and local business sponsors. Hundreds of Rubber Ducky fans went home with valuable prizes, and everyone went home with memories of a fun day at Mariner’s Landing Water Park, plus the great feeling that comes from knowing they helped their neighbors.

Former board member Larry Morier made a comeback this year as Grand Marshall, leading ducky fans in a parade to the lazy river on race day. The hugely popular regatta fundraiser was Larry’s brainchild.

Bethany Lutheran Church Lives United

A group of kids (and adults) from Bethany Lutheran Church helped us sort ducks while they were on a retreat at the Lutheran Church in Wildwood this summer.
